There should be alarms attached to people prone to garage saling...to alert their family that their weekly 'gas or grocery or whatever' budget is in danger! The one nice thing about garage sales is they are all cash. Today it was raining. I limited myself to garage sales near my friend's daughter's place. That meant I only visited three garage sales. The last one was a jackpot! Check out our new indoor grill! It was $10...the lady had used it twice. It was too big for her and came with manual and receipt.
And then I found additional pieces to my mom's daffodil silverware set by Rogers. The yellow looking stuff is Mom's (I added it). For some reason the stuff I bought looks more of silver colour...hmmm... The set and case were $10. I figure the case alone is worth that. I'm going to refinish it.
And finally, some cheap entertainment for Paul and I...
I found a puzzle for 50 cents. Can't beat the price!
I also picked up a ball of cream buffalo wool at this garage sale. It'll make a nice hat.

I love garage sale season. It makes Paul real nervous though. He commented we were supposed to be downsizing. Hmmm...good point. I told him I had higher quality stuff than other people. I was being selective about what I took and kept. It didn't wash. Sigh. The thing is, I know he's right. I'll be going through my studio the rest of today...
